Well, 2024 is wrapping up and, like usual, the year flew by with pumpers as busy as ever. Even with that, many of you were gracious enough to take the time to send in your Classy Truck submissions.
Though I’ve only been editor of this magazine for a short time, between my conversations with pumpers and truck entries I’ve read, I’ve noticed the pride that radiates not only in the work you provide but in the equipment you use and the rigs you drive. That pride shines in Classy Truck entries, and it should. Your trucks are a great representation of the different business models that make up the pumping industry. They are all a little different from the design of the owner — custom-built with company colors, tank options, pump and blower combinations, and loads of features for driver comfort and job efficiency. But, in the end, they are built to pump.
There is no shortage of quality truck builders out there and high-quality manufactured truck products. So while every issue’s Classy Truck provides a pumper the chance to show off their workhorse, they also provide excellent examples of how people are building and ordering trucks for anyone in the market for a new build.
The lineup in 2024 provided some really great stuff, and we thank the pumpers who have submitted their favorite trucks for the feature. We appreciate the time you took to share those with us and even more, the hours you put into designing and detailing the rigs for proper presentation in the magazine. We congratulate all the monthly winners and encourage all Pumper readers to submit their own entries for next year’s issues.
Now, we ask for everyone’s help in deciding the best of the best. Please cast your vote for the Classy Truck of the Year for 2024. With your input, we’ll crown one of these 12 rigs and feature its owner in the February 2025 issue.
So, for your viewing pleasure and voting convenience, check out the Classy Trucks featured over the past 12 issues. Follow the instructions to cast a vote for your favorite at pumper.com/classy.
