C&S Pumping’s driver, Michael Boone, spends his time behind the wheel of this 2024 Western Star SD 4900 carrying a 4,200-gallon stainless steel tank and Masport H400 vacuum pump built out by Imperial Industries. The rig does not lack power, toting a 600 hp Detroit engine tied to a 18-manual transmission. Exterior features include heated valves, 24-inch manways, a 5-foot toolbox located on the right side of the vehicle, heated and adjustable chrome mirrors and four sight glasses. Inside, there’s air conditioning and air-ride seats. C&S uses the truck for residential and commercial pumping as well as grease traps. Mark Hazlewood in Brandenburg, Kentucky, designed decals.
