Kraft Tank Corp. Omni thermoplastic tank trailer
Kraft Tank launched its new advanced armored Omni thermoplastic tank trailer in North America. The tank within a tank system consists of two structurally bonded layers. The inside of the tank has a seamless thermoplastic corrosion barrier with no welds or joints and the outside is constructed with a lightweight and high-strength carbon fiber-reinforced polymer structure. The thermoplastic interior of the Omni tank is a thick and flexible layer, which provides exceptional durability for hazardous cargo, resulting in minimal maintenance and no need for relining. It can be washed out easily, prevents contamination and keeps chemical cargo pure, maximizing tank utilization and allowing tank redeployment to help meet seasonal peaks. The suspension system features Swing-Align, an economical solution for quick, easy axle realignment. The axle brake technology includes Haldex disc brakes and brake actuators with the ConMet lightweight, aluminum PSP7 wheel hub. 913-601-6999; www.krafttank.com
Bionetix International ECP1611 enzyme concentrate
Bionetix International introduced its fourth enzyme concentrate, ECP1611. Available in powder form, this high-efficiency protease enzyme with keratinase activity can be used in a wide range of industries from detergent formulation to waste management. ECP1611 hydrolyzes both general proteins and keratin-rich substances into smaller molecules, making it ideal for applications that deal with hair, feathers and similar substances. In addition to reclaiming and repurposing nutrient-rich waste that might otherwise turn into an environmental problem, the enzyme can be used at waste treatment facilities to make sludge dewatering more efficient and speed up other aspects of the waste treatment process through enhanced protein digestion. 514-457-2914; www.bionetix.ca
