Infiltrator Systems installed a low-pressure injection molding machine at its Winchester, Ky., manufacturing facility. Taking five months to engineer and nine months to build, the molding machine weighs 420,000 pounds and molds a 15-foot long, 245-pound polypropylene tank. The machine is being used to produce the Infiltrator IM 1530 septic tank.
