When Ronnie and Iris Daniels decided to get into the pumping business recently, they jumped in with a new rig. They ordered a 2009 Kenworth T300 with a 300-hp PX-8 engine and a 5-speed Allison automatic transmission from Cooper Kenworth in Hickory, N.C. He had the maroon and white head-turner built out by Abernethy Welding, equipped with a 2,500-gallon steel waste tank connected to a Masport HXL400 pump.
