The Eliminator package from Fruitland Tool & Mfg. makes installation of the company’s vacuum pumps easier, thanks to a carbon-steel bracket assembly that bolts to a truck frame with minimum effort.“All a customer or dealer has to do is mount it to the truck frame, connect the drive and plumbing systems and they’re ready to go to work,” says Keith Myers, sales manager for Fruitland. “It takes five to eight hours, depending on the installer’s ability, versus 10 to 20 hours with a self-made bracket.”The unit weighs about 800 pounds, and is designed for 1,000- to 12,000-gallon tanks.
