Roth Receives Federal Cross of Merit

Manfred Roth, owner of the Roth Group, including Roth Global Plastics, makers of the FRALO line of products, was presented the Federal Cross of Merit by Prime Minister Roland Koch on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany for his honorary work and social commitment. Roth is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce of Dillenburg, served as commercial judge in Marburg and supports The Philipps-University in Marburg, where he serves on the board. Roth took over the family’s handcraft business in 1961, and became the sole shareholder of Roth Industries in 1969. Today the company operates worldwide and has more than 1,100 employees.

PolyPortables to Host November Motorcycle Ride

The 2008 Dahlonega, Ga., to Daytona Beach, Fla., motorcycle ride will depart from the PolyPortable Inc. company’s Georgia headquarters on Nov. 4, arrive in Daytona Beach on Nov. 5 and return to Dahlonega on Nov. 12. The 500-mile ride will coincide with the 2008 Portable Sanitation Association International Convention & Trade Show. Zoeller Hosts Open House

Zoeller Pump Co. held an open house for contractors, installers, distributors, regulators and vendors in connection with the 2008 Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo in Louisville. The group toured Zoeller’s Louisville facility and viewed various product demonstrations.

ADS Expands ARC Chamber Production

Advanced Drainage Systems has expanded production at its plant in Olympia, Wash., installing a 2,300-ton injection molding machine for the manufacture of ARC leaching chambers. The expansion is the second in as many years for the company, which increased production at its Winchester, Ky., plant in 2007.
