Vac-Con chose the 2022 WWETT Show to announce the debut of a new equipment innovation — the PRO Reel.
PRO stands for precision reel operation, and it is the result of what was a sort of pandemic project for Vac-Con.
“Vac-Con took the pandemic as an opportunity. We invested a lot of resources into new product development, new options and new features,” says Todd Masley, Vac-Con president.
This video shows the official unveiling of the PRO Reel at the WWETT Show, and Masley and Bryce Rieger, Vac-Con national sales manager, take onlookers through all of the reel’s innovative features during a demonstration. A main goal was to increase the working coverage on the front end of the truck, according to Masley.
“We wanted an operator to be able to find the work location, exit the cab one time, and do all the work out in front of the truck,” he says.
