RouteOptix has integrated Microsoft Bing Maps within its customer management, routing and billing software. This technology provides mapping functionality and the ability to have additional choices within the application. Some of the imagery provided enables maps to show either a “road view” displaying roads and geography, “bird’s eye view” displaying aerial images captured at a 45-degree angle, or an “automatic” option that switches to the best map style as it is zoomed in. It can be optimized either by “speed” or “speed with traffic.” The Bing Maps Web-based application is constantly updated without having to wait for a new version.
