January

New London County Septic & Excavation

Ledyard, Connecticut

Tim Willis added this blue and days-end gray 2007 Peterbilt 340 carrying an Andert Inc. 3,600-gallon steel tank and Masport Hydra 400 cfm pump. The rig is powered by a PACCAR PX-8 300 hp engine tied to an Eaton Fuller 10-speed transmission. Willis bought a used single-axle box truck and added a 20,000-pound pusher axle in-house. The truck is used for residential and commercial septic and grease-trap service. 


February

On-Site Sanitation

Mount Vernon, Ohio

Chad Sims added a Viper red 2020 Peterbilt 348 with a 4,200-gallon aluminum tank and National Vacuum Equipment 4310 blower built out by Amthor International. The truck is powered by a PACCAR PX9 370 hp engine mated to an Allison automatic transmission. Features include 34 marker lights (Betts Industries), four LED work lights and amber and white LED strobe lights. The truck is used for residential and commercial septic pumping.

Novak Backhoe LLP

Lankin, North Dakota

Terry Novak added a white 2012 Peterbilt 348 carrying a 3,300-gallon aluminum tank and PV750 pump from Presvac Systems. Power from the 8.9-liter PACCAR engine goes to a 13-speed Eaton Fuller transmission. The truck features a hoist and rear-opening door. The truck is used for residential, municipal and commercial pumping and car wash pits. 


April

Rechel Septic Systems

McHenry, Illinois

Dave Rechel added a white and cherry red 2004 Mack Granite CV7 carrying a 3,200-gallon Imperial Industries steel tank and Battioni MEC 13500 489 cfm pump, with tank and accessories added by GPM Pump and Truck. The truck is powered by a 400 hp Mack engine tied to an Allison automatic transmission. It is used for residential septic service.

A&T Septic and Excavating and J&J Pumping

Litchfield and Olivia, Minnesota

Aaron Thompson and Tim Kinney added a white 2019 Peterbilt 348 from FlowMark with a 4,000-gallon aluminum tank and National Vacuum Equipment 4307 blower. The truck is powered by a PACCAR PX-9 engine tied to a 10-speed Eaton Fuller transmission. The rig is used for residential and commercial pumping.

Bio-Liquid Waste Disposal 

Antigonish, Nova Scotia

Francis Overmars has an all-red 2015 Western Star 4700SB built out by Vacutrux with a 3,602-gallon steel tank and 500 cfm Wallenstein pump. The truck is powered by a 600 hp Detroit DD13 engine married to a six-speed Allison automatic transmission. Features include a full-opening rear door, hoist, vibrator, pressure washer and safety strobe. It is used for residential, municipal and industrial pumping.

Universal Vacuum Service

Hearne, Texas

Jimmie Deal added an American flag-themed 2021 Freightliner M2 built out by KaryMore with a 2,850-gallon aluminum tank and National Vacuum Equipment Challenger 887 vacuum pump. The truck is powered by a 350 hp L9 Cummins engine tied to an Allison automatic transmission. The truck has aluminum bed, wheels, fuel tank, three 20-inch manways and integrated toolboxes. It is used for septic, grease and grit traps.

BBS Septic & Environmental Service

Front Royal, Virginia

James Coleman refurbished a white 2004 Freightliner FL70 carrying a 2,000-gallon waste/100-gallon freshwater steel tank from Imperial Industries and a Jurop R260 pump. Coleman rebuilt the truck himself including refreshing a 240 hp 3126 C7 Cat engine and Eaton Fuller eight-speed transmission. He stripped and repainted the truck, added the graphics and reupholstered the seats. It is used for residential and commercial pumping. 


September

Northstar Environmental Group

Gallatin, Tennessee

Owner Donnie Drayton added a white and blue 2020 Kenworth T880 carrying a 4,000-gallon steel tank and National Vacuum Equipment 4310 blower from Presvac Systems. The truck is powered by a Cummins X15 500 hp engine tied to an Eaton Fuller AutoShift 12-speed transmission. It is used for industrial services including used oil collection, cleaning sump pits, car wash pits and other shop drains. 


October

Southern Comfort Portables 

Carriere, Mississippi

Shannon and Zack Atkisson added a Radar Blue 2015 Kenworth T880 built out by Amthor International with a 5,000-gallon aluminum tank and a 510 cfm Jurop Chandler pump. The truck is powered by a PACCAR 585 hp engine tied to an Eaton Fuller 18-speed transmission. Features include aluminum wheels, stainless steel hose trays, and chrome horns and stacks. The truck is used for residential septic pumping and transport of portable sanitation waste. 


November

Advantage Septic Service

Manassas, Virginia

Owner Mike Lynn upgraded a red, white and blue 2012 Peterbilt 348 with a new 4,000-gallon steel tank and National Vacuum Equipment 866 Challenger pump and built out by 27th Trucks. The truck is powered by a PACCAR PX-8, 350 hp engine with power to the road from an Allison automatic transmission. The rig is used for residential and commercial septic pumping. 


December

B&D Liquid Waste Hauling

Marshfield, Wisconsin

Dennis Oertel added a metallic blue and gloss white 2007 International 5900i Eagle Package truck built out by Imperial Industries with a 5,000-gallon steel tank and 400 CFM Masport pump. The rig is powered by a Cummins ISX 500 hp engine tied to a 13-speed Eaton transmission. The truck is used for residential and commercial waste, including grease traps, pumping public pools and cleaning up milk truck spills.
