Bakery seeks solution for treatment of high-strength wasteProblem: Rise’n Roll Bakery and Deli in Middlebury, Indiana, had an existing septic system that was no match for its increasingly large flows and high BOD of 6,000 mg/L.Solution: Installer Akin’s Excavating brought in Meade Septic Design to evaluate the situation. Meade developed a design that reused as much of the existing system as possible, while adding components necessary to handle the flow.
