The AquaMax 8 was initially designed for the U.S. Forest Service to accommodate firefighting crews.

“But the product is suitable for any large venue where showers are required: festivals, outdoor concerts, campgrounds, bike races, marathons and the like,” says Bill Gibson, Jag president and owner.

The propane-heated showers feature on-demand hot water, which eliminates the long wait required to heat water in a tank.

“Once you hook this unit up, you have instant hot water,” Gibson says.

In addition, the self-contained unit can accommodate an onboard water tank as well as a stackable washer/dryer. For waste removal, it either connects directly to a sewer line or an auxiliary waste tank, or relies on its 1,200-gallon waste tank. It also offers central heating and air conditioning.

“The unit can accommodate a lot of needs,” Gibson notes. “There’s a lot of functionality for extended use.”

The AquaMax 8 is 32 feet long (not including a 5-foot tongue), 12 feet, 6 inches high and 102 inches wide. It weighs about 12,900 pounds and employs a heavy-duty, 2 5/16-inch ball hitch rated for 25,000 pounds.

Outside, the unit features a seamless, low-maintenance fiberglass exterior that’s easy to repair if damaged. The one-piece, fully laminated trailer offers superior strength and is well insulated and water resistant, Gibson says.

“The unit also includes four externally mounted sinks that are hidden behind a flush-mounted lift gate on the rear, not located in the shower stalls,” Gibson adds. “That allows people to shave or wash without tying up the showers. In addition, when you raise the lift gate to use the sinks, it serves as an awning to protect users from the elements.”

In addition, the roof is triple-sealed and load bearing, which makes it impervious to the elements and safe to walk on to inspect vents, Gibson says.
