Service World Expo is coming in October to Tampa, Florida.

To help home service contractors continue to grow and become more profitable, the show will be bringing in 42 industry specific speakers, over 200 industry exhibitors, and three keynote speakers including two-time college football national champion and first round NFL draft pick Tim Tebow.

Service World Expo targets residential contractors involved in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or remodeling services. Scheduled for Oct. 18-21 at the Tampa Convention Center, the event will encompass compelling content, cutting-edge educational breakouts, a product showcase that is more tailgate party than trade show, and various entertainment events.

Home service contractors have seen a boom in business the past couple years because people were at home, working remotely, and took that opportunity to upgrade or work on home projects. Contractors have been busier than ever. In addition to this boom in business, there have been new challenges in the industry, including:

  • Labor shortages in the trades
  • Supply chain disruptions in labor, raw materials, computer chips, triggering inventory shortages, equipment pricing increases, and uncertainty in manufacturing outputs
  • New regulations in HVAC equipment efficiencies

Service World Expo aims to provide contractors resources to help handle some of those challenges.
