Weekly Flush: Drunk Driver Rolls Septic Truck Onto Side

A 33-year-old man from Orchard Park, New York, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after rolling a septic truck onto its side.

State troopers responded to the scene and performed field sobriety tests on the man, and he failed those before registering a 0.25 percent level on a Breathalyzer.

He had driven the truck off the side of the road, and it tipped onto its side. No waste spilled from the tank, and the contents were transferred to a different truck. No one was injured in the crash, according to WKBW News.

As part of the renowned Triple Crown horse racing series, the Preakness Stakes and Kentucky Derby are prestigious and highly regarded sporting events steeped in tradition. The first Preakness was first held in 1873, and the Kentucky Derby debuted two years later. An event no less glorious but featuring an entirely different brand of thoroughbred celebrated its 10th anniversary this year: The Preakness Toilet Run, where drunk racing enthusiasts attempt to run across the top of a bank of restrooms while being pelted by (often full) beer cans. The event was mimicked at the Kentucky Derby this year too. What a tradition.

You thought flushable wipes were a problem? What about flushable wedding gowns?

In partnership with Quilted Northern, the website Cheap Chic Weddings is holding its 14th annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest in which designers create wedding dresses using only toilet paper, glue, tape, needle and thread.

There have been more than 1,500 submissions.
