The EarthBuster Deep Soil Decompactor is an alternative to conventional replacement and rebuilding of septic fields. It mounts via quick-attachment to skid-steers, tractors and excavators, and uses a probe to inject compressed air into the ground at depths up to 6 feet. This immediately relieves compaction and/or biomat problems, restoring soil percolation to within normal parameters, according to the maker.
