Torti Services Inc., Chepachet, Rhode Island

Larry Torti added a Dupont white and gunmetal gray 2018 Kenworth T800 carrying a 4,600-gallon steel Imperial Industries tank, Advance Pump and Equipment toolbox jetter and Fruitland 500 pump. Torti built out the truck himself and painted the tank. The glider truck is powered by a preemission factory remanufactured Series 60 Detroit diesel 500 hp engine tied to a Fuller LL eight-speed transmission (Eaton Vehicle Group). It has a Hendrickson HAULMAAX rubber block suspension, 4-inch inlet and 6-inch dump valve with stainless steel heated jackets, a front sight tube and three rear sight glasses, top and rear manways and rear clean-out door, Alcoa aluminum wheels, stainless steel visor and LED work lights. The interior features air conditioning, GPS and satellite radio. Graphics were provided by Eramian Sign. Torti is the driver, and the truck is used primarily for residential septic service.
