Cleaning and servicing holding tanks, especially those used on your rental restroom trailers, can take a lot of time and energy. Dried, stuck-on waste can cause lingering odors. Walex Products offers Commando to reach the source of stubborn odors.

Commando is a safe, natural and eco-friendly cleaning product that disperses billions of healthy bacteria to break down waste buildup that causes odors. The portion-controlled packs are formaldehyde-free, septic system-safe and dissolvable. Drop a few packs into a portable sanitation holding tank, fill it with water and the product works to clean and sanitize the tank in a span of 24 hours.

“Our unique formula utilizes a high concentration of active ingredient to more effectively break down and digest waste while also removing sludge and debris,” says Corey Morton, sales manager with Walex Products.

The multipurpose Commando packet offers a variety of uses within the portable sanitation market. With its ability to quickly aid in the digestion process, this product covers any tank application where waste, paper and sludge may accumulate.

“Portable restroom companies use the product not only to maintain their physical asset — their (restroom) trailer — but also to improve their company image by keeping their customers happy,” Morton says. “Commando makes the experience of using these portable restroom trailers more pleasant. Our customers also use Commando to clean the tanks in their older portable restrooms and office trailer holding tanks.”

Commando is designed to ensure holding tanks start clean and odorless and that the valves, seals and sensors stay debris-free, lubricated and working properly. According to Morton, the product underwent rigorous testing to ensure the highest performance standards.

“Our customers are pleased that Commando thoroughly deodorized even those trailers with residual odor issues prior to placement on site,” he says. “It has helped completely restore function in sensors, aided in the extra life expectancy of equipment and reduced odors in both portables and holding tanks.”
