A Florida vacuum truck driver was uninjured when his service rig overturned along Interstate 75 in Land O’ Lakes, Fla., on Monday, according to a news account. See the report and a photo of the truck here:

According to the local Patch report, the northbound truck overturned when a tire blew. While a small amount of fuel spilled, the contents of the vacuum tank did not spill. The truck was from A-Able Septic Sewer Service Inc., Crystal River. According to the report, driver Bradley Wayne St. Clair was not injured.

A tire blowout on a busy highway is just one of the safety dangers a pumper can face at any time. Have you had a similar experience, and if so, what was the outcome?
