Vacuum truck and sewer cleaning industry leader John “Jack” Leary Doheny, founder of Jack Doheny Cos., passed away Jan. 1 at his home in Vero Beach, Florida. He was 87.After serving the country in the United States Air Force, Doheny joined his uncle’s company and traveled across the U.S. with his father to demonstrate coiled and sectional rodding machines. In 1973, he started his own business, Jack Doheny Supplies, which today is under the Jack Doheny Cos. umbrella.
