Nozzles

Hydra-Flex Machete

The Machete from Hydra-Flex is a linear oscillating nozzle built to take on hydroexcavation challenges in compact soils. It is ergonomic with the power to reach greater depths without the operator needing to bend over. The spray motion eliminates extra manual movements by the operator. It reduces the risk of undermining and can take on bell holing, sloping, trenching and finishing applications. It blasts a 0-degree stream of water that oscillates to create a 15-degree wedge. As water flows, the rotor spins, forcing the rocker assembly to move back and forth, creating the oscillation movement. This combination provides the safety of a rotating nozzle with the force of a straight-line tip, making it a smaller nozzle with the same impact as nozzles with higher gpms. 952-808-3640; www.hydraflexinc.com
