Close the books on the successful 2014 Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo International in Indianapolis. Then open up to new possibilities in the new, updated Water and Wastewater Equipment Treatment and Transport Show, or WWETT, as it will come to be known. For 2015, the Expo is being renamed to more accurately reflect the industries served by COLE Publishing magazines.

The 2015 WWETT show will be held at the Indiana Convention Center Feb. 23-26.

Thanks to all of the loyal Pumper readers I met last week in Indy. It was great that so many of you reported optimism for the industry headed into the coming busy season. I hope you have record revenues and pump more gallons this year over last. Your upbeat forecasts were reflected in the number of serious buyers looking at the beautiful vacuum trucks on display on the exhibit floor.

Every year I see more sharp-looking uniformed technicians on hand, and big crowds taking advantage of Education Day. The equipment parked on the show floor gets better every year, from the impressive, huge hydroexcavators to the smallest tools and innovations designed to make your job easier and more efficient. The education, the equipment, the networking … It all serves to give attendees an edge over their competition back home.

So next year, there will be a new name … but pumpers will still derive the same myriad of business-building benefits from meeting up with the gang in Indy. Start your planning for next year. It’ll be here before you know it.
