Your Next Christmas Parade Float?

Deck the halls with septic system components

If you decorate the pumping fleet for a hometown Christmas parade every year, here’s a new take on the septic system parade float:

According to the Anderson, S.C., Independent Mail, the town of Central Public Works Department float in the Clemson Christmas parade involved the popular Dr. Seuss character, The Grinch, popping out of a septic tank and featured elves following behind him on a sleigh. Parade-goers pronounced it the parade’s best float.

In the November issue of Pumper, I challenged septic service companies to decorate their vacuum trucks for the holidays and submit photos. Send me your photos and I’ll post them right here at my blog and include them in an upcoming issue of Pumper. Email your favorite photos to me at editor@pumper.com.
