Post to Facebook ... Win Pumper Art

How would you like to have a one-of-a-kind piece of Pumper art to decorate a wall in your office?

How would you like to have a one-of-a-kind piece of Pumper art to decorate a wall in your office? Well, here’s your chance.

In 2006, artist Bill MacGregor, of Johnston, R.I., customized two of his most popular prints, “Outhouse Pumper’’ and “Porta Potties’’ to run with a story about his work depicting vintage trucks and equipment in Pumper magazine. Just like a new Picasso masterpiece is discovered every so often, I found these colorful pen and watercolor works deep in my vault of goodies recently and decided to give them away.

MacGregor – who once worked for a company that designs and installs septic systems – sells his prints and paintings at art fairs throughout the northeast U.S. He’s sold dozens of the pumper-themed prints over the years. Winning one of these two published prints is simple:

Go to the Pumper Facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pumper-Magazine-Dedicated-to-the-liquid-waste-industry/108349609204240?ref=ts – and click “like’’ if you haven’t already. Then post the name of your company, and tell us what you think is the biggest issue facing the liquid waste industry today. From the “fans” who post to the Pumper Facebook page through Sept. 15, we’ll draw two winners who will receive the MacGregor prints.
