Walex founder Robert “Bob” Williams passes awayRobert “Bob” Alexander Williams, founder of Walex Products Co., passed away Nov. 18, 2022. He was 92. Born in Washington, Pennsylvania in 1930, Williams enrolled at Washington and Jefferson College at the age of 16 and later attended Penn State for graduate studies in physics. After college he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving as a lieutenant for the Bureau of Ordnance and later aboard the USS Tweedy (DE-532). After the Navy, he held technical and research positions at Monsanto Chemical and Burlington Industries.Williams retired from Burlington, and in 1987 he began Walex Products in
