Time to Vote for the Classy Truck of the Year

Check out the dream garage of septic service trucks and let your voice be heard

In every issue of Pumper, we feature a reader-submitted Classy Truck photo. Then we compile those photos for our Classy Truck of the Year contest. The December issue has been mailed and posted here at the website. Now it’s your turn to help select the winning truck, which will be photographed again and put on the cover of our February 2011 magazine.

Logging a vote for your favorite truck couldn’t be easier. Simply click on the Classy Truck contest banner on the front page of the Pumper website, review photos of the monthly winners and make your choice.

The 2010 Classy Trucks range from Dusty Miller’s overhaul of a 1992 flatbed truck into a vacuum service rig, to brand new 2010 Peterbilt trucks from Mike Thornton and Michael E. Knight. The trucks have carrying capacities varying from the 1,700-gallon tank on Tom Cossentino’s Pete 330 to the 5,500-gallon hauler on Steve Smith’s International PayStar.

Voting is open now through Dec. 23.

If you want to submit your truck for a future Classy Truck honor, send a digital photo and information to editor@pumper.com.
