NFL Star Judges Portable Restroom Decorating Contest

On the “Community’’ page at it’s Web site, Jacksonville, Florida-based Floaters Portable Sanitation shows off snapshots of its restrooms that were decorated for a charity event coordinated by the Nemours Children’s Clinic. The photos were taken at the Crohn’s Walk last spring at Jacksonville Landing.

A contest for the best-looking unit was judged by Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback David Garrard, who suffers from Crohn’s Disease. Among the photos at the company’s Web site is a shot of Garrard posing with a restroom. You can see the photos at www.floatersnow.com/community-nemours.php.

How often do you contribute portable sanitation equipment for charity events? Do these donations build good will for your company in your hometown, bringing you more business? Have your units ever been decorated for a contest like those provided by this company?

Send me a note at editor@pumper.com and let me know about your favorite charitable event and how participating in the event benefited your company. I’ll share your story in this blog.
