Driving septic trucks down bumpy back roads can be a dirty business

 

Martin Ruiz, owner of Septic Control in Phelan, California, tries to project a clean image for his customers, but it’s sometimes difficult in the desert because his trucks drive primarily on dirt roads. “As much as we try to keep equipment clean, it’s very hard to maintain our trucks, but our guys do their best to go through the trucks once a week to make sure that they’re clean inside and out."
