Are you horrified by those images of mayhem as people seem to completely lose it during the Black Friday, post-Thanksgiving Day sales?

Giving Tuesday was founded as a way to do something positive instead - to show how truly thankful we can be by giving a little something back to those who may be having a tough time during the holidays. Imagine having to tell your kids they can't go to the bathroom for hours just in case it backs up.

Be a Septic System Super Hero, and go “Pump It With Pride” - and of course a real touch of class!

On Dec. 1, WasteWater Education is challenging you to help make a difference. Ask all your customers that day to join you in making a donation to your local Habitat for Humanity chapter, and in return, promise to show up to pump their septic system wearing classy evening attire. And don’t forget to take a photo of yourself in your fancy clothes to share on social media.

Here's a way to both put a little extra in Habitat For Humanity's coffers and also to give you, the mostly unsung public health heroes, a real blast of media attention.

Go grab your black tie and tails, your tiaras and tux, and let's bring a little comfort and joy to a whole lot of folks this Giving Tuesday.

Share photos on the WasteWater Education Facebook page.
