The Sump and Sewage Pump Manufacturers Association (SSPMA) has hired Blake R. Jeffery, CAE, of Blake R. Jeffery Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., to serve as its managing director. Jeffery replaces SSPMA’s managing director of 39 years, Pamela Franzen (Nike Professional Services), who has retired from association management. 

Jeffery has 13 years of association management experience. Prior to working with associations, he was director of environmental affairs with the Indiana Manufacturers Association and has lobbied for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He brings more than two decades of local and state legislative agency, lobbying, public affairs and management experience to the associations he serves. SSPMA’s new office will be headquartered in Indianapolis, effective April 1.
