Special events and occasions call for special restrooms, and because of that, luxury facilities have found a place among the world of portable restrooms.

The Majestic restroom trailer was developed and released by NuConcepts as a unit that could be used for weddings and special events. “We wanted something that would stand out, something classy,” says Hilario Coelho, facility manager at NuConcepts. “Our Majestics have the ‘wow’ factor.”

Users will find vinyl-plank flooring, a brushed aluminum ceiling and flushing porcelain toilets. Other standard features include aluminum trailer wheels, a 30-watt solar panel and 35-amp converter, accessible battery box recessed and built into the deck, recessed LED lighting, powered roof vents, metered faucets, single-cast beveled counters and sinks, city water connections, high-quality fiberglass construction, and motion sensing and latch-activated power. Options include air conditioning, stainless steel dispensers and a stainless steel half-moon trash can.

The Majestic has been in production for more than four years, but modifications to the design have been implemented over time based on outside input. “When we put these together, we try to think of everything our customers have to deal with, and we are constantly changing them and making improvements based on feedback,” Coelho says. He says they built the Majestic to look good and provide easy maintenance and durability. They utilize common sealed rotocast holding tanks and a single drain.

The trailer is designed to adapt for multiple placements by offering two options for step placement, allowing customers to choose street or curbside. The Majestic is also designed in a short, compact form to allow easy maneuverability for operators. Customers also have the option of choosing between a dual or quad unit.

The dual, two-restroom model is 183 inches long, 96 inches wide and 121 inches tall. It contains a 90-gallon freshwater tank and a waste tank with 150-gallon capacity. The quad, four-restroom trailer is 280 inches long, 108 inches wide and 121 inches tall. The storage capacity for fresh and wastewater is doubled from the dual.

Coelho reports the Majestic is well received by restroom contractors and users.

“We have been in the restroom business for over 25 years making restrooms and for us it’s all about customer service,” Coelho says. “If anyone has an issue with something, we are here for them, no matter what.” 800-334-1065;  www.nuconcepts.com.
