Fan-cooled washdown pump solves overheating issue

Problem: A Midwestern OEM/maintenance shop owner was having trouble finding the correct pump for one of his customers. He had already installed two DC washdown pumps on this truck, and both times they had to be replaced in a short period of time. The issue with the pumps was that they lacked a cooling fan. Without a cooling fan, the pumps would overheat and trip the breaker.

Solution: The shop owner installed a Moro USA DC Fan Cooled Cast Iron Washdown Pump. The pump has an integrated cooling fan, which allows the pump to stay cool under all conditions.

Result: The pump solved the overheating problem, and the customer no longer had to replace pumps, eliminating unnecessary downtime and wasted money. 866-383-6304; www.morousa.com.
