Merlin and Janelle Litzenberger bought a Firemist brown 2017 Western Star 4700 SB with a 4,200-gallon Martin’s Welding aluminum tank and National Vacuum Equipment 4307 blower built out by Nolt Services. The truck is powered by a 380 hp Detroit diesel DD13 engine tied to an automatic transmission (Allison Transmission). Features include air-ride suspension, aluminum Alcoa Wheel Products Dura-Bright wheels, Garnet SeeLevel tank indicator, three sight glasses, dual 4-inch intake valves on the front and a single 4-inch intake on the rear, a 6-inch dump valve, top and rear manways, 3,000 psi 10 gpm General Pump jetter, 120-gallon freshwater tank, Visionworks backup camera, front and rear warning flashers and off-road lighting, and BASE Engineering remote system for the valves, blower washer and throttle. Martindale Welding provided aluminum component fabrication. Good’s Transport sprayed protective coating on aluminum components. Graphics were provided by Brown’s Signs. The truck is used for residential septic pumping.
