Industry entrepreneurs and veteran employees Charles Ray and Colin Bishop announced the acquisition of all western hemisphere assets and rights to Anua by Bord na Móna PLC. Supported by Justin DaMore, an industry insider, and his private equity associates, the sale was completed with terms of the transaction not disclosed.

The new company will continue using the trade name Anua. The purchase includes the assets, rights, trademarks and intellectual property to Anua and to an array of technologies, including Puraflo, Platinum, PuraMax, Compact Mónafil and Compact Mónashell. Anua has entered into a long-term renewable agreement with Bord na Móna PLC for the continued supply of peat fiber for Puraflo and peat nodules for Compact Mónafil. Anua will continue its relationship with PekaSys Inc. to supply the Bubbler Sequencing Batch Reactor.

“Our team is thrilled about the acquisition," says Bishop. "Charles and I met Justin over five years ago. Justin’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious. We have desired to build a manufacturing business together that shared our core principles. When the opportunity to purchase Anua came along, we recognized our chance at fulfilling our dreams. Clean water and clean air are critical to life and health. We take environmental stewardship very seriously and will be actively engaged in growing the business in a variety of sectors. We are forward thinking in our approach, like harnessing all available water resources for property owners and being the go-to information resource.”

Anua will continue supporting key relationships and purchasing media from Bord na Móna. Anua will promote its unique approach to providing sustainable clean water and clean air solutions.
