Southwest Products has worked with Iowa Mold Tooling Co. Inc. (IMT) to expand its sales territory into the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. SWP has been a distributor of IMT mechanics trucks in the western U.S. for many years, and will now offer mechanics truck sales, parts and service to customers throughout Oregon and Washington.

The IMT Dominator Series of mechanics trucks are used in many industries such as construction, mining, railroads, municipal fleets, general contractors and rental companies. They include six models of mechanics trucks all with a range of truck body sizes and various crane strengths, as well as optional drawers, shelving, workbenches and air systems.

“I believe the strength of SWP’s reputation as a good business partner significantly contributed to our selection, and combined with our growing truck sales staff, we are excited about the addition of this new sales territory,” says Glenn Johnson, national sales manager. “As we branch out to new customers in the Northwest, we also expect to build a larger network to support the truck needs for many different industries.”

SWP made IMT vehicles part of its plans for continuing growth and future expansion, and with a talented team already in place and ready to take on this new opportunity, it seemed like a natural fit. Now as a distributor with an expanded focus that goes beyond Arizona and Southern California, the newly-named IMT distributor for the Northwest already has Dominator truck inventory available at the Ridgefield, Washington, location, as well as the parts and service staff to support after-purchase customer needs.
