Pinky’s Environmental & Sewer Service
Stillwater, Minn.
This red, white and blue 2006 Sterling LT9500 is the latest service vehicle in the yard of Neil and Denise Clymer’s Stillwater, Minn., company, Pinky’s Environ-mental & Sewer Service. The truck was built by Advance Pump & Equipment Inc. in Peosta, Iowa, and features a 4,600-gallon Progress tank with a 6-inch discharge valve and two rear intake valves. All valves are heated and function well in frequently subzero winter days in the Upper Midwest. The rig is powered by a 395-hp Cat C13 engine combined with a 9-speed Eaton-Fuller transmission. Vacuum is provided by an NVE 527 high-vacuum continuous 743 blower, engaged by an air shift Chelsea PTO in the truck’s cab. The control lever for the blower is located in the rear of the truck near the valves for operator convenience. Cab comforts include air-ride, cruise control, power windows and heated mirrors. The truck also features dual air horns and dual vertical exhaust. Graphics were added by Graves Sign.
