For his company’s recent 25th anniversary, Marc Lamoureux purchased this all-red with chrome accents stunner to add to the Lamoureux Pumping fleet. The 2007 Kenworth T800 from Vacutrux in Elmira, Ontario, is powered by a 475-hp Cummins engine wed to an 18-speed Eaton-Fuller transmission. It carries a 4,000-gallon galvanized steel tank with a textured bottom, served by a 500-cfm Wallenstein liquid-cooled pump. The truck was loaded up with many convenience options. To help with the work, it has a hoist, vibrator, 4- and 6-inch heated valves, remote air valves and a 36-inch manway at the rear. It also sports a 200-gallon water tank. To survive tough northern duty, every metal component, down to the nuts and bolts, is either galvanized or stainless steel. The truck carries 200 feet of 4-inch hose to accommodate any job. Another must-have accessory, according to Lamoureux, is a Crust Buster tank agitator. Driver comforts include air conditioning, power windows and doors, cruise control and satellite radio.
