Dillard’s Septic Service
Annapolis, Md.

James and Renee Dillard witnessed an extreme makeover, pumper-style, when they had their beat-up 20-year-old Chevrolet C70 from Lely Manufacturing beautified recently. James Dillard’s first service vehicle was totaled in a rollover crash in 2005. When an inspection turned up no damage to the Chevy 366 gasoline engine and 5-speed transmission, frame and Masport pump, and little damage to the steel tank, the couple decided to fix the sentimental favorite vehicle. With new maroon paint from Dave Parsons Painting, striking graphics by Tomorrow of Annapolis and some new accessories, the truck looks like a brand new retro- pumper. The truck is still functional with the 2,300-gallon tank and repair work by A & D Truck Services, Woody’s Truck Repair and A.H. Miller Welding.
Other companies involved in the restoration include Line-X of Glen Burnie, Virgo truck accessories, Ziebart TidyCar and StylinTrucks.
The truck has more than 270,000 miles on the engine that has never been rebuilt. Other amenities include air brakes, air-ride driver seat, air horns and CD stereo.
