Owner Steve Langanki bought this 2000 Sterling LT 9501 in 2007 when he started his pumping business. The truck, bought from Glen’s Truck Sales, was previously used as a lumber hauler. Langanki shortened the frame by 54 inches, then had it converted for pumping at Engle Fabrication Inc. in Sauk Centre, Minn. The truck sports a 3,300-gallon steel tank with HXL400WV Masport pump with fully coated hose trays and heated collars. Power is provided by a 310-hp C10 Caterpillar engine coupled with a 10-speed Eaton-Fuller transmission. The truck was painted a dark metallic blue by Engle. Custom lettering and logo were done by Jeff Hoglund Sign. The no-frills chassis has no chrome accents and the interior is basic, with only air conditioning and air-ride seats. The truck carries a Schmitz Bros. Crust Buster. The truck is used mainly to haul residential septic waste.
