Newson Gale offers paper on static electricity

Newson Gale released a white paper on static electricity, "Achieving Safe Tanker Truck Loading/Unloading." The paper provides detailed guidelines to ensure safe transfer of flammable or combustible products to or from tanker trucks or similar mobile equipment or containers. Delaware approves Anua aerated filter system

Anua's Platinum submerged aerated filter system received approval from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control. The DNREC accepted the European EN 12566-3 protocol verifying the treatment system will provide an effluent quality not exceeding 30 mg/L of BOD and TSS with a minimum 50 percent reduction of total nitrogen.

Gamajet service repair available to Toftejorg owners

As part of the Alfa Laval acquisition, the Gamajet service and repair program is now available to owners of Toftejorg tank cleaning equipment.

Gump celebrates unofficial retirement

Barry Gump, president and CEO of Andy Gump Inc., symbolically turned over the California-based temporary site services business to his daughter Nancy Gump Melancon during his 70th birthday party in September. While Gump did not actually retire, he and his daughter have been working through succession plans the past five years. Gump was joined by portable sanitation leaders at his "Unofficial Retirement Party," who recounted his many contributions to the industry, including developing the wheelchair-accessible restroom and designing the self-contained portable hand-wash station.

SJE-Rhombus hosts training event

SJE-Rhombus held a training session for 15 attendees representing several distributors, installers and representative agencies at its headquarters in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Training included control panel design, operation and troubleshooting, and hands-on panel assembly.

Super Products offers a product guide for its Mud Dog hydroexcavator line. The guide provides a side-by-side comparison chart and detailed information on its 6.5-, 10-, 12- and 16-yard debris capacity units, as well as available options. Amazing Machinery moves into new facility

Equipment supplier Amazing Machinery moved into a new 6,000-square-foot building in Cleveland, Tenn. The location includes 2,000 square feet of dedicated retail and showroom space.
