Certified products will bear the NSF Certified Flushable mark, indicating whether the products are suitable for a sewer system, septic system or both. Annual audits and periodic product testing is required to maintain an active listing on the NSF website, www.nsf.org/info/flushability, and retain use of the NSF mark.
