The first septic service truck for new pumper Rick Prettyman is a refreshed metallic blue and white 1999 Mack CH from 27th Trucks Inc. The 11-year-old truck, gently used with 150,000 miles, features a 350-hp engine tied to a 10-speed Meritor transmission. It carries a 2007 3,500-gallon steel tank, liquid-cooled 400-cfm Masport pump, and 180 feet of hose. With a reconfigured, raised bumper and heavy terrain tires, the truck is suited for septic and commercial work in a rural area with some hills. Simple lettering was provided by Ken Brown Graphics. The truck has sight glasses and aluminum wheels, and a no-frills interior.
