Owner Jerry Thompson’s 2005 Mack Granite with a 5,200-gallon Presvac Systems aluminum tank built by Lely Mfg. was featured on the show floor at the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo before it was placed in service. The white rig is powered by a Mack A1 400-hp engine and an Eaton-Fuller automatic transmission. Vacuum for residential septic cleaning and grease-trap work is provided by a Masport HXL20WV pump. The tank has four sight glasses. The truck has stainless steel storage boxes on one side, chrome stacks, aluminum diamond-plate hose trays, chromed bullet lights, strobes around the outside of the truck that trigger when the vacuum is operating, an integrated visor, work lights at the rear, and tool holders built into the back bumper for convenience. Bold graphics were provided by Sign Power. Driver Euridice Goncalves rides in comfort on an air-ride seat.
