To add some customer service pizzazz, owner Jeff Field had this 2008 Sterling Acterra built by V & H Trucks, utilizing a Presvac 4,000-gallon aluminum tank. The white rig with chrome accents is powered by a Cummins ISC 330-hp engine tied to an Eaton Fuller FRO-11210C 10-speed 1700 Series transmission. Vacuum is provided by a Moro PM80 pump with moisture trap and oil catch muffler. Graphics are by Signtext Inc. Convenience features include stainless steel heated/lighted mirrors, air-ride cab, overhead storage console, power windows, tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control and stereo with CD and MP3. Technician Ray Scarbrough splits time in the cab of the new vacuum truck used for septic tank cleaning.
