The Wisconsin Liquid Waste Carriers Association Summer Convention is Aug. 22-23 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. MISSOURI
The annual Waste Treatment Symposium is Sept. 10-11 at the Holiday Inn at Six Flags, Eureka. The training, sponsored by the National Association of Wastewater Transporters Inc., covers everything pumpers need to know to treat septage and grease trap waste. The symposium begins with classroom instruction on Wednesday and concludes with a field trip on Thursday to David Flagg’s Septic Services’ treatment facility in Union. Vendors will dewater septage and grease trap waste, enabling everyone to see how the equipment functions. Registrations at the door are accepted, but classroom capacity is limited.
