In Fayette County, Texas, the driver of a portable restroom service truck was pulled over on Interstate 10 for a traffic violation Wednesday afternoon by the county narcotics unit. While speaking with the driver, the officer became suspicious and obtained permission to search the vehicle with the K-9 unit.

The driver allegedly thought the smell of the tank, which still had waste residue inside, would hide the smell of the drugs. It slowed the K-9 dog down, but it wasn’t enough to confuse him for long. The narcotics officer uncovered approximately 1,495 pounds of marijuana, bundled in the vacuum tank.

The driver, who owns the portable restroom company, was arrested and charged with possession.

So just a little reminder to everyone: legitimate cargo only!
