A Kentucky septic service technician was injured when his service truck went off the road and rolled over, according to Kentucky State Police. The septic truck was from Sam’s Septic Tank Cleaning, Cecilia, Ky. According to a report in the News-Enterprise of Hardin County, the truck was on a curve along Kentucky 222 when an oncoming vehicle crossed the lane and forced the septic truck off the road. The crash is a good reminder for drivers to maintain safe speeds on all roads and under all conditions. It’s the busy travel season and highways are jam-packed with drivers impatient to reach their destinations. Anything we can do to convince the motorists to slow down and drive responsibly around loaded vacuum trucks will improve safety for everyone.
